Frostbow Home Inventory 5 Lite makes it easy to record an ongoing inventory of your possessions, what shape they're in, what they cost, and what they're worth. The clearly configured interface opens with a sample record that gives a quick feel for what's entered and how. Drop-down lists include many manufacturers' names, retail stores, and other frequently used items. You can record warranty information, serial numbers, and identifying marks, and even attach images of the item, or scanned receipts and other documents. You can head off future family squabbles by designating an heir for each item. It'll generate charts and reports, too. Since an inventory that's lost with your possessions won't do you much good, it's a simple matter to make backups and store them online or remotely.

This program is great !! I love that it gives you the option to add as many photos as you wish! I am using it for all of my home inventory.
Cons
I wish that you could attach pdf's as well. It also isn't so great for books.
Summary
I absolutely love this program and if they could add a better book & movie interface, would be the only program I would use!

I used to have my inventory on Microsoft Money but since they appear to be discontinuing I looked for an alternative.
This fills all my needs.Cons

"Fast, nice prog., easy to use w/ tons of info & pics"

A simple program with clean screens and thumbnail picture ability. Search feature is very helpful along with the many charts and graphs. Put in all the info you can think of to help describing the items you want to save.
Cons
It was a little frustrating getting the pics dropped in place, just took a little time playing with it. Good help screens to get you through it.

You can use this for any type of item documentation. The vast info that can be logged in, along with pics and search feature makes it quick and easy to use. The price is definitely right....FREE!! Thanks designers!!!

I have been using this on a vista machine for a few months. I love it and really haven't had a problem.

Summary
Downloads & installs nicely and is easy to use. So far it's handled my large collection of bells with pictures-no problems. Every-once-in-awhile an error message comes up saying that the program has stopped working, but it never does, so I don't know what that's all about.

Pros
This is such a nice software, I'll probably go to the Pro, but even the Lite is great. Reports print nice tons of options. Occasionally comes up with error, but doesn't seem to cause any problems. Can't say enough about this product!
