No matter how many times you upgrade, you always need more memory. This freeware utility is a handy tool to manage memory usage and keep your PC from crashing. Free Ram Optimizer XP maintains a level of free RAM that you determine. The program interface is very straightforward, with tabs to control optimization options (whether automatic or manual, and free memory desired) and start-up options. The small tray icon shows you the level of free memory and lets you access the program main page with one click. Overall, this is a fairly compact, useful program that should help you run a PC more efficiently in between memory upgrades.Publisher's description
From AceLogiX :Optimize your memory (RAM) using this lean program. Avoid application crashes due to low memory. This program monitors your memory, and frees up RAM if it falls below a certain minimum. It consumes little memory. You can configure it to free memory automatically or manually.

Version: Free Ram Optimizer XP 1.0
"Great tool to speed up your computer and auto optimize your RAM"
Pros: The software automatically frees up RAM memory.
Because most software programs don't "release" their code in the RAM memory and Free RAM Optimizer XP helps to do that for you. So, when you open and close a program, it will automatically be removed from your RAM memory as well. That way more RAM memory will be free and contributes to a speed up of your system.
Cons: None, because it's a great tool for every computer user and a must-have download.

Version: Free Ram Optimizer XP 1.0
Pros: Improves your computers ram like it was made to do but if you want something to help system resources and free ram while using low resources get RAM Def XT and RamPage together and they will keep your computer going at excellent speed.
If you have a ton of emmory and just want to make sure it doesnt overheat then i guess this is good.
Cons: No cons but i think RAM Def XT and RamPage is better

Version: Free Ram Optimizer XP 1.0
Pros: I admit, I just want it for my Laptop, simple greed: though it never crashes, and has good specifications.
Cons: I use another optimiser for my desktop. Time will tell, which is better. Though FreeRAM XP Pro is quite good, and I use that as a system tray really for my HP desktop, which cannot handle start up programs that well.
