The svelte and simple Easy DVD Player has everything most people might need to run a DVD. The interface is compact, slick, and clear. The player lets you zoom in the picture. Cautious parents can set a password to lock movies based on their rating. Easy DVD Player also lets you take screenshots of your favorite moments. You won't find advanced features such as built-in digital sound processing. On the other hand, we were pleased to discover the trial version only displays a nag screen when the program starts up. Easy DVD Player can't match the advanced functionality of more expensive software, but it ought to satisfy casual users who just want to watch a movie.

    "Easy? Yes. Quality? No."

    Pros

    Easy to use, just like the name. Start software, select DVD and you're on the main menu without any previews or Fox title menus

    Cons

    I can get better video quality on netflix with a low-bandwidth wireless connection. I know they want to incentivise us to purchase the paid version by providing poorer quality with the free, but it has to be good enough quality to at least get me to watch more than the first 10 seconds.

    Summary

    Don't waste your time unless its for your 2 year old who doesn't mind a grainy mess of a picture.

    "Helpful DVD assistant"

    Make me enjoy my DVD movies easily.

    It should be free.

    A typical nice DVD assistant for me. I have used it for over one year and was waiting for his next update.

    "It is really a good DVD player."

    Pros

    It goes well on my PC. I can play my ISO files by it and the outputting is good. Recently, I find that it can plaly Blu-rays.

    Cons

    Slow update.

    Summary

    It is easy to use, and it is very powerfyl. The outputting quality is amazing. Now it makes Blu-rays available.

    NOTHING FOR THIS !!!

    IT Sucks!!! I wanna shove it down a hole!!! and you waste your disk space like 1500 MB of disk space.
    And If Your Trying to watch a movie its like HEY WANNA BUY THIS FREAKING THING FOR $29.99 in US Currency And I'm like I WANNA WATCH MY FREAKING MOVIE FOR GOD SAKE!!!! For God Heavens GET THIS OFF OF CNET!!!!!!!!!
