When it works, GREAT

- If all functions preform Easy Computer Sync is the best. Moves select data as advertised.

- Drag and drop function stopped working. A big flaw for me as I use this feature most of the time. Absolutely no response from the so called Tech. Support contacts listed. Have called, emailed and sent a regular letter for support and no reply.

- You have to pay for the program in order to try all of the features but after a quick and very satisfactory trial under the free version I purchased the program. The paid version allows you to add personal files not found under my document, pictures and the such for regular syncing between computers. The manual drag and drop feature is also very simple to use. Also, I purchased a Belkin Easy Transfer Cable for Windows 8 but was not happy with the Windows Easy Transfer Software as it did not allow enough straight forward control of file selections for sync. Happily though the Belkin cable works great with the Easy Transfer software. FWIW, I'm using the software to sync between Windows 7 on my desktop and Windows 8 on my laptop.

It appears this will not be as great to use as I had hoped. Although it works great for simple manual transfers of data between computers the sync mode does not mimic the deletion of information. Thus, any files you wish to delete you must do at both computers or you will end up with the deleted file back on the host computer after your next sync. At the very least, if you have selected to simply keep files backed up to the other computer (instead of synchronizing the two) you will have deleted files remaining in your backup file.

- This works great for my laptop. The file transfer speeds are awesome! Whenever I want to sync both computers, all I have to do is plug in the cable, and the software does the rest.

- Easy to use interface, transfer data really quickly. All you do is plug in the easy transfer cable, and choose which folders you want to sync. That's it!

- Does require an easy transfer cable, but this is way faster than using a LAN or wireless connection. I was using some other software before, and it took hours to move my movie collection. This program took just minutes.

- I got this software so I could sync my data with my acer netbook, and it works great! It is so easy to use, and I was really impressed. You just select which folders you want to sync, and press "go!".

- It does require the cable, but as I understand it, that is what makes it so fast and easy.

- Great program, looks very nice too. I ordered the cable from the manufacturer, and it is a breeze to use. If you don't already have the cable, their website shows you how to get one (online, or at target, walmart, etc...)
