• Regret Choosing this Backup Program

  It creates the backups, but not sure if you can actually restore to them Interface seems easy enough to navigate

  --On program launch, sometimes freezes at splash screen. Have waited ~10 minutes for it to start. Have given up and restarted my entire PC at other times --When program version updated, several incremental backups now had RED ERROR messages....had to dump them, lucky I didn't need them. --Auto-updater caused program to break...gave error message and would not open. I was told by support simply to "uninstall and reinstall entire program". I've done that 3x now. --The only time I've tried restoring an image (just as a test), it failed! Setting up a TeamViewer remote session sometime this week to resolve --Their support suffers from poor english and it shows. They've misspelled file name and locations and their instructions always take several reads to get clear.

  OMFG...Easeus Todo Workstation is giving me so many problems. I've emailed them about 8x in only 3 months of ownership.....its their flagship paid home version too. --On program launch, sometimes freezes at splash screen.   Recovery can be tricky! it is not uncommon that the backup image won't recover, so better have multiple images.

  we use server and workstation edition in the company, both works well. workstation edtion backs up our non-server system, and keep data and system safe.

  What is worst than failing to recover from a backup? FAILING TWICE! When it came to recovering, it would NOT load the backup file.

  Summary

  If you like to live dangerously and throw money away, this is the program to get. But beware, not only is this program junk, it is dangerous!

  It MIGHT work. It worked once for me - problems since then.

  I got a an error message when trying to do incremental backups. I emailed tech support and got an unintelligible answer. Either they didn't understand the question or they don't give a shxt. I emailed again. They suggested I pay MORE for upgraded tech support. Then I got an email offering a discount for a less than full upgrade (ver 4 to 4.5). All they want is your money, without having to provide a service.

  Summary

  If we stop buying crap from publishers that want more money for every little bug fix update, they'll have to give us the value or go out of business. These guys should go out of business!

  worked ok with MRB drive

  Cons

  Will not restore to a larger than 2.2TB drive.

  Summary

  I bought this so I could use it to restore to a 4TB RAID drive. After several attempts and several email to support ended up breaking my RAID into two MRB 2TB drives. After that it restored and ran OK. I bought this because it claimed to work with GPT drives.

  Pros

  Windows system restore didn't correct the problem but EaseUS did. The recovery took a little less time than the backup! I purchased the product, ran a backup, and had a big problem a day later. The recover process was easy and worked perfectly (while I was sweating bullets).

  Cons

  EaseUS is not an American company, Chinese maybe, I dunno, but the software recovered from my hard drive and that's what counts.

  Summary

  I'm very lucky I bought it just one day before I needed it.<br /><br /><span class='notifyMsg'> Updated </span>on Dec 15, 2011<p/>It was an external hard drive that it recovered from.
