  Pros

  I wanted something small and simple that could display where the big folders were.

  Cons

  It's inaccurate. For a folder that had 12 files of about 5 gigs, it tells me it's only 921 megs. This makes the program useless, otherwise I'd give it 3 stars. <p> <p>It could have a slightly more useful interface, such as the ability to display subfolder sizes separately and combined without having to rescan.

  Pros

  Quick & easy to install and use, no nonsense. You can right-click to Explore (and maybe clean up) a folder, or to scan it separately. Try scanning *without* the option of "calculate each subdirectory separately". Then the ones that are iffy, you can right-click and scan. This lets you zero in pretty quickly on the major areas of disk space usage. I discovered a bunch of files in Documents and Settings on my C: drive which should not have been there, because my docs is a different drive. It helped me identify a maintenance need. A side benefit is just another view of your drives, to keep awareness up.

  Cons

  All it does is give you a quick overview of your folders, their size, and how many files are in them (at whatever level you choose.) If you are looking for something else, you won't be happy.
