One-click desktop icon position backup/restore.
  • This Applescript backups all positions of your desktop icons.
  • Making copies of it allows to save multiple "sets" of desktop icons placements.
  • Unsaved icons get selected after a restore.
  • If you rename it e.g. to "5 Desktop Saver" it will wait 5 seconds and then restore (useful to set it as startup item to restore removable disks icons).
