This update is recommended for MacBook Pro (mid 2012) models. This update addresses rare issues where the battery unexpectedly stops functioning or the system hangs when the battery charge reaches less than one percent.
This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />It is very consistent: I close the lid, come back in 10 minutes and there is not response from the system except that screen shows the state of the screen when I closed it.
No cursor. No response to any key.
Can only turn off and turn on.
For me, this firmware update is a disaster.
Now, if I can only find a way to back it out.
Blessings to those that do not have problems.
