Dedaulus System Cleaner (DSC) is the small utility, not needed to install, that helps you to clean your PC from various garbage. DSC allows to clean temp folders and cache/history/cookies of Web browsers (Internet Explorer, Opera 8-9, Firefox 1.5-2.0). DSC also allows to organize search of temporary files of other programs, using special masks (you can edit them at own discretion), search of bad shortcuts, search of empty folders, search of duplicates, and search of registry errors. Version 1.6.25 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.

This free program effectively scans and removes junk files on your PC, but it has a few flaws in getting started.
Dedaulus System Cleaner's installation may confuse users because the buttons aren't clearly marked and require some testing to figure out what they do. It gets a whole lot easier to locate and remove the files, though. The program features a straightforward interface that categorically displays areas for searching temporary files, folders, and invalid shortcuts. It has a one-click clean feature to search and remove junk files from all selections or from user-selected sections. The registry cleaner includes a backup feature for restoring deleted keys. Much-appreciated extra features make it simple to uninstall programs, delete linked registry keys, and manage start-up programs.
An effective help guide and brief descriptions of each function will make it easy for novice users to grasp this freeware. Intermediate users will surely find the settings easy to configure and the operation speedy and reliable.

"Good idea, but does not work."
Pros: Used it for deleting empty folders.
Cons: Crashes everytime I use it for finding duplicate files.

Cons: It's supposed to be MORE than one tool, not just a one-click tool. It's supposed to find duplicate files. When you try to set it up to do so, you just get error messages in weirdly accented letters.

"Nifty Tool. Works Just Fine..."
Pros: Very basic. No bells and whistles. Gets the job done and that's all you can really ask for with freeware. If it doesn't work for you, maybe you're too busy looking for instructions, which are not there. You just have to figure it out. It's called one-click...duh!!! Click the button and when it's done click the "Clean" button and it will remove all your registry errors, hidden temp files, wrong shortcuts and more...
