This software promises to protect credit card information, account identity, and passwords, but you'll be disappointed if you want to try it before you buy it. The trial version offers you an opportunity to see how the program looks but not how it functions. The interface is not particularly user-friendly but is livened by bright colors. Credit Card and ID Guarder offers three options: quarantine, immunization, and manual check. The first two have no programs preloaded and no clear instructions for adding. It says programs will automatically be added, but this didn't occur in testing. Under manual check were six options for checking and removing programs. Trying to use any of the six led to a pop-up with options only to exit or enter a registration key. Credit Card and ID Guarder will frustrate novice users, and intermediate or advanced users will find easier-to-use programs to protect their information.

Credit card and ID Guard is designed to guard a user's credit card numbers, account identify, and passwords. It has program immunization and program quarantine technologies to do this. When the user needs to enter credit card numbers or identifying information while shopping online, or in an IM program such as MSN or ICQ, it prevents other programs from accessing the information, and prevents keyloggers, screen copy, and other thiefware.

Version 2.3 fixes register bugs and adds upgrade support.
