From BonSoft :ClocX is a truly beautiful analog clock enhancement for your desktop. You can choose from a wide variety of styles, all of them high quality and very attractive. You can also use it to run one-time or recurring alarms, that can play a sound file, launch a message box or run an application of your choice. In addition, the program offers features like antialiasing, transparency, click through, calendar display, customizable priority and more. You can change and configure the backgrounds. Not only can you make ClocX transparent, you can choose from 256 levels of transparency. If you never thought, you'd need a desktop clock, ClocX may change your mind.

Pros: Been using this app for a couple years without problems. I find it a handy reminder of when I am watching the time without relying on Win XP clock in the tray. It comes with a fine selection of skins and it has an alarm that be set. It's a nice piece of freeware and spyware free too. Can program with the date visible and the transparency can be modified.

Pros: ClocX is a fun, skinnable application. It is very adaptable and user-friendly, so one can make it look and behave their way. It's great for us old coots who happen to love an old-fashioned analog clock face! It can be configured to consume very little in the way of system resources. It also has alarms that can be set. Best of all, it's FREEware!

"Better then some you have to pay for!"
Pros: and, it's a fun, convenient toy with many skins. It's easy to setup & fully compatible with Vista although on my Vista system I use a detached gadget clock. Free only makes it better.
Cons: I'd like to see the day & date displayed more boldly because it's kind of hard for me to see. I'd also like to see it where open windows cover it instead of it always showing over the windows. Other then that, no cons.
Summary: With so many skins &where the sizes & colors pertain to it's skins its a very good, dependable clock that starts every time I start my XP system. It's reliable & the Quick Time skin, though kind of small, matches my theme. This is a re... read more >>

Pros: This d\one does everything I have been looking for. It is attractive, has many visual options, includes a calrndar, though i use another one, and has an alarm
