Sharp World Clock is a desktop clock program for Windows. It can display the local time for multiple cities and time zones with correct daylight savings. You can decide how many clocks you would like to see at any time. The clocks are resizable without any loss of visual quality (due to the use of hardware accelerated WPF technology). Sharp World Clock can show analog clocks (with hands) or digital clocks - or both. You can arrange the clocks in a grid array with adjustable columns and grids or in a horizontal or vertical line, but you can also undock clocks from the main window and position them anywhere on the desktop. Accurate calculation of sunrise and sunset times and moon phase. Integrated tools: time zone converter, alarm center with multiple alarms (single and recurrent), calendar widget for 1, 2, 4 or 6 months, feed reader and weather report. Chime function with hourly and quarterly signal or speak-the-time. Export / import function for settings.

I was looking for a 24hr analog clock, but couldn't find one that i could customize the way i wanted.I found Sharp world clock which you can fully customize, but didn't have 24hr analog.I emailed the owner with my wish to include 24hr movement and it was granted,it was added to next update a few days later. 1st class clock and service

Pros
I don't normally write reviews but this product is just so good! The incredible flexibility of the clock style is amazing and lets you produce pretty much any look you might want. Although there are an awfully large number of options, don't let this worry you. Most of them are intuitive and the tooltips are very helpful for those that aren't. Having said that, the default settings are perfectly acceptable. I run three screens on my work and home computers and have the clocks aligned along the top of the third (least used) screen. I work in a global business so have 9 time zones on the go and this was just what I was looking for. The flags, temperature and sky strips are cool extras I wasn't expecting. The price is also very reasonable, and the ability to run it on two machines for one license is a nice touch as well.

I haven't really found any yet.
Summary
If you work in a multi-national environment and need to keep track of who is awake and who isn't then this is a great app. I am seriously considering setting up an old PC in the office with a monitor on the wall to replace the current clock we have there. It would certainly save a lot of arithmetic! I highly recommend this program!
Best & Most Customizable Clock Ever!

This clock works flawlessly, which is after all what everyone looks for to begin with. However, unlike some of the others out there, it is highly customizable. You can get the look and feel you like, change colors, styles, formats, add flags, make it digital or clock-faced, in short, make it your clock, to match your taste and personality. Probably the best features is the developer himself. He takes pride in his work and updates it regularly at no extra charge - for life. I had the K****C clock for several years before I got the Sharp World Clock. It had functionality issues, and the developer was constantly sending updates that did nothing but require a new license. In other words, he kept forcing customers to buy the same thing they already bought. I confronted him with it and he just ignored me. The Sharp World Clock's developer is proactive, keeps the product working perfectly and is 100% honest.
Cons
I always hate it when someone says there are no cons. Normally there has to be something wrong with a product. However, in the case of the Sharp World Clock, I honestly can't think of anything I don't like. It does everything I want it to do and the developer keeps it up-to-date at no extra charge.
Summary
If you want a clock that is always there, works flawlessly and let's you tinker with the design whenever you like - this clock is for you. But don't take my word for it. Download the trial version and check it out for free. Once you try it, the clock sells itself.

Oh it's great! You can set it up to look exactly as you wish, any size, colour and arrangement of the dials for different regions. I can now tell at a glance if my friends across the world are likely to be awake, and whether it's still daylight and even if it's raining before I contact them! It's fun too! Worth every penny and there is excellent support too!

No cons that I can think of!

Pros
Haven't found anything that I need that the program can't do. Also found several neat features such as dimming clocks during non-business hours that I hadn't thought of but find really useful. Nice uncluttered user interface that supports significant customisation. Ability to export settings for backup and transferring between computers. Very responsive support from the developer.
Cons
Some minor issues with screen resolution and high DPI displays particularly in multi-monitor environment. That said, many applications today (including major graphic software developers who should do better) handle high DPI displays very badly. In comparison Sharp World Clock is one of the better ones. What problems I had were resolved within a couple of days by the developer.
Summary
For many years I had been using a very good free world time clock. Unfortunately it is no longer being updated and as I had to rebuild my main work computer, went looking for the "best" world clock available. After many hours of research I came across Sharp World Clock and decided to try it out. I have not been disappointed and despite the fact that it isn't free, it is well worth the small investment. With its combination of rich functionality, clean and customisable user interface, and superb developer support, I can highly recommend this application to anyone.

I work for a company where I have to deal with engineers in multiple locations all over the globe. I can never keep straight what time it is anywhere. Word Clock allows me to have all of the relevant regions that I deal with on a screen in a concise display. This allows me to know if a contact is available, when they most likely will be available, and how best to schedule meetings. I've been using it for years and it is the ONLY clock software I need.
Cons
The only thing that I can think of is that it would be nice to be able to reposition the GMT offset on the clock faces. Some of the larger offsets (multiple digits) are partially hidden behind the face of the clock.

If you don't have, download it and try it out. Once you do, you will be hooked!

My friends ask why I would pay for a clock program when there are so many that are free. Hah! The many have very limited functionality. This one is loaded with extremely useful options. I congratulate you for your effort and your insights. This is by far the most useful of the many clock programs I've tried. The customizing options are superb. You've truly done a world-class job with it.
