This simple yet very handy utility lets users quickly copy full file or folder paths with the click of a mouse. ClipPatch lacks a dedicated interface per se, as it integrates directly into Windows Explorer's right-click menu and offers three options for copying path information to the Clipboard. The first two differ only in the presence of the forward or back slash after the drive letter, while the third creates a link to the file or folder than can be pasted into Outlook. One nice feature is the ability to select multiple files in a folder. In that case, file paths are separated by semicolons or stacked when pasted as links. We should note that you'll need to read the text file before installing the application, as it's not immediately clear how to do so. Otherwise, this totally free and functional utility strikes us as a convenient little pick-up.Publisher's description
From SS :As a Programmer, we are often required to set the path or classpath Environment variables. But Windows Operating does not allow us to copy the full path of a file or a folder, say, c:\temp\try.java to clipboard so that we can paste the same anywhere we require. Clip Path utility tries to solve these problems. It is a windows Shell Extension Program. Once installed, you can copy full path of a file or folder to clipboard.
New features in Version 2.1 include the Addition of one more menu item - "Create Outlook Link(s)".

This software version | All versions -
Version: ClipPath 2.1
Pros: This utility is ******* amazing! Just download it! It works perfectly with Windows XP and Vista!
-
Version: ClipPath 2.1
"What every OS should have built in"
Pros: This tool so perfectly meets an obvious need that no Operating System should be without it. MS should have thought of it.
Cons: The menu could provide a clue about which direction you might want your slash to lean, left or right. Just offering me "/" or "\" forces me to think too much.
-
Version: ClipPath 2.1
Pros: This is an extremely lightweight, useful little program. I use it daily when I'm browsing for files, uploading, or sending file paths through email. The "paste in Outlook" option is a huge improvement over the older version of ClipPath!

Version: ClipPath 2.1
"Very Useful - especially when you want to upload files"
Pros: I use it almost all the time when I have to attach files in yahoo mail or any mail software. Simply clip the path of the file and paste it in the box where you are asked for attachment's path+filename.
Cons: I would like to see a shortcut key combination along with the mouse to clip path.
