• Powerful and reliable

  Pros

  For keeping track of lots of people, this is easily the most powerful program I've seen. It's used here on a network with 33 workstations, and it's rock solid. Anybody at any computer can see what anyone else has on his calendar. All without having to use MS Exchange or any other additional software.

  Cons

  This is minor, but I wish there was a small button on the programs main calendar that would allow me to switch one of the automatic displays on or off (as it is, I have to go to the program's configuration screen to do that).

  Pros

  This program does just what we need for scheduling multiple people in our company. It does it much better than any other scheduler we have tried.

  Cons

  For no reason what so ever it will just lock up. The vendor blames our network, anti virus, etc... however none of our other networked programs have problems.

  Pros

  Unlike a lot of other calendars, Chronilist seems to have been programmed by people whose first priority was function, rather than the latest visual design fashions. Moving around the program is fast, and getting stuff done is efficient. Setting a recurring event is just one example: Chronilist handles this with more flexibility than any other program I've seen, and it does so in a SMALL section of the screen that is always visible when you edit the event (instead of in a hidden window, as is the case with other programs). Network use is also unique and easy to set up without the need for any additional software. To over twenty users on our network, this program is indispensable.

• A calendar that's different

  If you're looking for another "Me-Too" calendar, don't bother with Chronilist, because it charts its own course. To begin with, it looks unlike the others, which might be uncomfortable for users wedded to the me-too's, but not for most of the people in my office, who have taken to it quickly and fondly. I like so much about this program, from little things to big. Little thing: the program has no separate to-do list; instead all deadlines are included in the schedule, so you don't have to look at two places to find out what you need to do. That's a small, but nice touch. Big thing: The program keeps track of every individual, room, or other resource in this office. And it allows you to see any individual schedule, or all schedules on the same screen! With no fuss, and no MS Exchange!

  Chronilist is used in our office to schedule upcoming client interviews, meetings, court appointments, etc., for several attorneys. We find it to be an indespensable part of our practice, used by everyone, even our senior partner who uses his computer for very little else.

  Pros

  I started out with the "home" version of this program and liked it so much that I recommended this professional version for use in my office. We were looking for a calendar that not only keeps track of several different people, but one that can be used on a network by all those people at once. Chronilist can display a calendar for any individual person or for any combination of people. Finding a period when several people are available at the same time (useful for setting office meetings) is simple (Search | Find Free Time). Our secretary can schedule appointments for any/all of us from her computer, and each of us can see what anyone else around the office has on his calendar. This is a great product.

• Unique Calendar

  Chronilist looks like no other calendar I've seen. For instance, it doesn't waste space with empty half-hour time slots, like all the others seem to do. And unlike the others, you don't even have to assign a time to a scheduled event (though I do in most cases). The program makes it easy for me to see what each of my employees has scheduled on each day, and that's the bottom line in my book. What I really like, however, is the program's no-nonsense approach to its job. It just does what it should in as simple a manner as possible.

  I use Chronilist on only one computer so far, but it's scheduling four busy employees. As I add computers, I plan to purchase additional licenses, so that the program will be able to be used on each one. It's easier to use than the other calendars I've seen, and it seems to do everything a small real estate business could want. I also use it at home. Its recurring events scheduling (used for birthdays, etc.) is wonderfully flexible, and its graphic displays of events with begin and end times (especially vacations lasting more than one day) are very useful. Back in the office, it's "Free Time Finder" makes it easy for me to find when two or more people will be available at the same time for a conference.

  This thing runs our shop. Manages eighteen guys and five bays. Our girl at the front desk didn't like it at first because it didn't look like outlook. But she now says it's easy.
