"Can't retrieve data with shareware version"

April 12, 2008  |  By timsterr1

 |  Version: CD Rx Data Retriever 1.0

Cons

There's no way to evaluate this software, since you can't retrieve data with the shareware version. You can look at files on a cd, and even eject the cd, but you can't do anything else with the cd. Maybe it works if you buy the full version, but these guys obviously don't understand what a demo version is - theirs is useless.

"Smashing programme. I guess some people haven't used it correctly"

July 29, 2005  |  By Python1503

 |  Version: CD Rx Data Retriever 1.0

Pros

Tried this on a CDRW that Nero had scrubbed the file system on. Ran this once and it identified every single file (over 1500 files), even though other programmes reported that the disc was blank.

Cons

Difficulties in purchasing product. Unable to save detected files.

"Do not waste your time!"

October 27, 2003

 |  Version: CD Rx Data Retriever 1.0

Summary

This is a complete waste of bandwidth. The 'demo' can not even recofver a file even IF it can read the disk. It makes you upgrade. A real joke!
