"Not a Word replacement."

Pros: Nice interface.

Cons: Can't turn off drag & drop, so your documents will contain inadvertent errors. Tables are poor - e.g. if you cut & paste contents of a cell which includes line returns, Pages will paste into multiple cells!

Summary: It would be nice to have an alternative to Word with its weird formatting tricks, but Pages isn't up to it yet.
