Pros: Compatible with Windows 7, good quality of the output files.
Cons: In one converted file, audio was a bit slower than video. I have written to AVS. Was recommended to download a latest version. The bug was fixed. That worked.
Summary: Good quality for good price. You get over 20 programs, chose video converter & video editor. All for 39 bucks in sum.

"Slow & leaves your system requiring a reboot..."
Pros: For the most part its easy to use with the exception of batch conversions that are a bit cumbersome. The program does convert from/to pretty much any format and has an easy to use menu to choose destination formats from.
Cons: Slow and is riddled with memory leaks. I have to reboot my computer after converting several files.
Summary: There are free programs that provide similar features although they are not as easy to use at first and don't support as many features as AVS Video Converter supports. Converting to a supported TIVO format is the only reason why I purchased this so... read more >>
