I have had this product for a long time. each upgrade is better than the last one. This last one is about the best ever. It was worth the price, that is for sure.

Has problems with "odd" formats.

"The best converter out there"

Pros
Highly accurate with top quality conversions. It offers high flexibility when it comes to choosing subs, audio tracks and resolutions. In most videos it identifies the subs tracks and can remove or switch them during conversion. In fact is the only one I found that offers such flexibility, and actually works, that I have found so far and I have tried almost every video converter that exists. Converted MKV to MP4 etc can be played on PS3 without any problems.
Cons
It's a bit slow.

"Absolute POS"

Worst converter I have ever seen. I spent an entire day fiddling with this POS. I have used several programs from Free to paid on all formats. I mostly use converters to go from my Panasonic camera (ACVHD) and convert to .MOV (quick time) form Mac so I can edit in Final Cut Pro 10. I never got the same file twice. I expected that I would have to fiddle with the advanced settings tab to get it correct. On a 5 minute video, I had files from 30mb-340mb. Either the pic would come out blurry or there would be no audio. If you look closely on top10reviews.com you will see that this is a Google ad and NOT the actual superior rating for this product. Had I known that I would not have spent the time.
Summary
This product seem to mainly be designed to compress files so you can watch them on your Ipod or Smartphone. Anything else and this is wrong product for you.

Not only are their products professional...yeah, they are unmatched for ease of use and simplicity. If you have yesterdays computer and try and run todays programing...youve lost already!!

"Disappointing software for video editing."

Not much to say. Maybe fast in saving edited work.
Cons
Editing the video may also interfere with the separate audio file and overlay files. Hard to manipulate the overlay to different effects. The worst part is it does not take any characters other than alphabets, e.g. Chinese, Korean, Japanese, etc.
Summary
I basically use Windows Movie Maker unless I have to use overlay effects. Will look for a better program.
