AVReporter Modbus Communication Tester is able to connect, read and log Modbus measurement devices.
AVReporter Modbus Communication Tester is a neccessary equipment to directly connect to any Modbus TC/IP or RTU compatible measurement device, and read their quantities easily on our PC.The software is able to connect to Modbus compatible PLCs and Dataconcentrators as well.It can be used for measurement value verification before we put our energy management system live, or when we want to create our customized driver for an Energy Management Software.Features: - Connect to any measurement device, regardless of the manufacturer. (for example it supports: Siemens, Janitza, Schneider Electric, ABB). Electricity, heat, water, sewage, solar energy measurements are all supported. - Supports the most common register types. We can convert the measurement values back into decimal by selecting the proper register type. (for example unsigned integer 16 or 32 bit, Float32, BCD, Digital bits) - Log the real-time measurement data into CSV file. - Mask registers to test control logics, most commonly used for PLCs. - Both single and multiple register formats are supported for Modbus TCP/IP and RTU. - Read and log multiple registers at once - The software is completely free, no registration is required.
