• Talk about slowing my computer down!

  Looked like the application was very user friendly but who knows?

  My laptop ginded to a halt when this was installed and I tried to run it.

  Summary

  Granted, I have an older laptop with slow speeds anyway but jez. I ended up having to restore the entire system. This one is not for me at all. Guess I wil stick with AVG until something better comes along.

  It has a Task Manager and Startup Manager are especially important when the "evil" virus prohibits running standard Windows Task Manager Windows. This manager has the choice to sort the list display - the programs or processes. Naturally available standard features - the completion of tasks and switch to the program. At the momnet I use it on my laptop and at the work for 3 month. Startup Manager - graphic design and intuitive interface standard startup manager for Windows.

  As my avast became unstable from an update, I set out to try an another av and found this baby. It found 9 freakin' trojans that avast missed.<br /><br /><span class='notifyMsg'> Updated </span>on Mar 2, 2011<p/>Turns out, it is incompatible with bitlocker. Dang, I was getting used to it.

  Summary

  While running a quickscan it "found" a trojan I couldn't find any information on. I had it quarantine it. Then delete it. Guess what, 10 minutes late the same file came back. This happened 3 times. No other AV ever found this "infection" and in the past day I've tried. Avast and AntiVir. And an online scan.

  Setup and configuration was very easy, and the interface was attractive and intuitive.

  Cons

  I've heard that Zillya uses more memory than most AV products, but on the other hand, I have lots, so it didn't really matter.

  Summary

  Easy, attractive, and intuitive. I'm running it parallel with a "second opinion" product (no, not hitman) and the computer performs just fine. Only time will tell, as far as detection rate. That's the main thing, and in all of these AV reviews, it's the one thing that the reviewer is mostly in the dark about. Any AV review web site will show you that just about every single AV product has flaws, you just have to be careful and use second opinion software. Anyway, all in all, I'm quite happy with Zillya's ease of use.

  Pros

  Zillya Anti virus detected 7 different types of malware on my Windows 7 computer, and several backdoor viruses, in which Norton failed to detect. Zillya Anti virus full scan mode are quick, and does not take up too much ram or cpu usage.

  Cons

  No cons to report.

  Summary

  I give Zillya Anti virus 5 stars rating.

  Pros

  This product uses lots of memory, but protects your computer as good as other security softwares. It has a good e-mail scanner, and good at cleaning malwares.

  Summary

  Good, low resource consuming addition to some other security tool that misses antivirus (e.g. Windows Defender + Windows Firewall + Zillya! AV would definitely rock)
