Download any video from youtube and convert it into your favorite format.

YouTube Download&Convert, as the name suggests, allows users of the program to download any video from youtube and convert it into most formats - ready for sharing in emails or putting on an iPod (there are many more uses, these are just a couple). The program itself is surprisingly easy to use--simply tell it the YouTube URL and what format you want to convert it to, and click Download. You can also choose what directory to download the file into. The program then downloads the file--giving you the progress along the way--and then converts using the FFmpeg library. It couldn't be easier.

Version 1.1.4 includes Output Location is now saved. Program will look for the higher quality video to download first. Program will convert videos to a higher quality. Program will remove illegal characters from filenames before saving to prevent auto-deletion by Windows OS. Auto Version Check feature can be turned off by renaming versioncheck.ini.

Was just a waste of time installing that program because my father get's annoyed when I install to much so he set up schedule (1 install in 1 Month !) It's Crazy I Know ! :(

Another complete waste of time. Installed it, went to a YouTube video, got the download screen, set it up (output file, directory to save at) and clicked to download. All I got was a re-direct to a webpage that said : "This Account Has Been Suspended Please contact the billing/support department as soon as possible." Thanks for the lame Christmas present cnet.

I TRIED A LOY OF URL'S TO TRY AND DOWNLOAD AND NONE WOULD. IT NEVER WOULD WORK. I DOWNLOADED IT AGAIN THINKING I MIGHT HAVE RECEIVED A BAD DOWNLOAD, BUT NO! IT JUST DOESN'T WORK PERIOD!!

I was able to download and convert the files from FLV to MPEG.
Cons
It takes 30 minutes to download and another 15 minutes to convert and if you try to replay the files in a row like 2 or more videos it comes out out of sync. the video and the voice are not in sync unless you play one video at a time offline.
