With the ability to display and print all the subdirectories and files in a folder's many levels, YourDir expands on Windows' Explorer feature. The tiny application looks a bit amateurish, and its bare-bones interface can initially be confusing, but for the most part it functions smoothly. File lists and full directory trees can be printed, saved as JPEG or BMP files, or exported in CSV format. A few quirks can cause new users to stumble, including one feature that asks for a top limit on the number of files or folders displayed, then stops the search if more are found. Despite this and a few other head-scratchers, the free download does its basic job well.
