Here I introduce a freeware utility for XML2ITR with help of this utility you can print ITR forms from XML created by departmental utility or any other way. Feature of utility: Any XML supports (Prepared by any utility/software); Assessment Year 2008-09 and 2009-10 available now; All ITR available ITR1 to ITR8 (except ITR7); No setup need, just single standalone file.

Excellent Piece of Software

Pros
Can prepare paper return in a very nice manner.
Cons
a. Slow - Require lots of resources b. Not Available for AY 2006-2007 and AY 2007-2008
Summary
ITD's software is excellent in e-return preparation but lacks woefully when it comes to paper return. Here where this "XML2ITR" comes into picture and completes the whole story. I recommend it to all CAs/Tax Practioner using department's software for e-return preparation but also required paper return for record or for further submission to department (as and when required)
