• It's great! Now I have a greek keyboard on my Mac!

  It's free, it works great, it also has 3 greek fonts. Very useful program for Greeks and those who study Modern and Ancient Greek.

  When I bought my mac it didn't have a greek keyboard on it. So I could read greek fonts on the internet, but wasn't actually capable of writing with greek fonts, as I didn't have a greek keyboard option. With this program I can easily switch from english to greek keyboard, just as if the computer was bought in Greece. It's very useful to Greeks buying computers abroad, Greeks living abroad, and those who study Modern and Ancient Greek. A useful tip: press ; + vowel for accents.

  This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />I'm glad to finally be able to type Greek in a <i>full featured</i> word processor such as Word or Appleworks. But I wish the documentation of the product was in English as well as in Greek. I'm the technical user on my computer, but not the fluent Greek speaker/reader. <p><br>I would like to know how this utility works. Does it add Unicode functionality to non-Unicode apps? If I receive a file from Windows written in a Unicode aware app, will WordX be able to display it properly with this utility? Does Word for Windows use a similar script or is it Unicode aware? When we use Unicode aware apps on OSX, such as Mail, should we use the keyboard provided by this utility or should we stick to the Unicode Greek provided by Apple.</br></p> <p><br>One problem I had after installation is upon starup. The computer started up (and continues to do so) with a black screen in text mode. It eventually automatically switches to the GUI but I would still like this to be corrected.</br></p>
