World Flags Screensaver

This simple screensaver turns your PC into a virtual flagstaff. Upon launching the program, you ll see a map of the world and the national flag of your choice prominently displayed onscreen. World Flags graphics are merely average, but the realistic manner in which the flags blow more than makes up for this. You can set the program to permanently display a certain flag at all times, or you can have it randomly select one for you each time it loads up. The application also lets you determine the wind speed but lacks sound effects or music. We really appreciated the ability to add a flag of our choice simply by dropping a GIF into the appropriate folder. We did find that the floating nag screen often partially obscured our view of the flag. Still, geography buffs and globe-trotters might find the program makes an appropriate screensaver.
