Enables Spotlight and Quick Look for WordPerfect.

WP Spotlight & Quick Look Plug-ins 3.5 enables Spotlight search (from Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger) and Quick Look thumbnails and previews (from Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard) including graphics and tables for document and graphics files created by WordPerfect on any platform from version 1 to version 11. Besides text content in main body, text boxes, comments, footnotes, and endnotes, the following additional items are indexed by the Spotlight plug-in:

the version of the WordPerfect document format (WP Mac through 4.0)
the security method (either "None" or "Password Encrypted")
the fonts used in the text (search for "Courier")
the languages used in the text (search "en" for English, "de" for German)
the page height and width in points (search for width > 600 to find US Letter but not A4)
the number of pages (estimated at 1800 characters per page)

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />I installed the plugin according to instructions, and updated the Spotlight index. Spotlight will not find any wordperfect files, unless it is a filename search. This software simply does not work. MacBook Pro 17" Processor Name: Intel Core i5 Processor Speed: 2.53 GHz HD: 500 Gb OS 10.6 (Snow Leopard)

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />I downloaded and installed as instructed. I reindexed Spotlight first. I did not wait to see if Spotlight would finally reindex the WP files. Finds files so conversion to Word first is not necessary. Below is probably not developer issue so much as Apple issue.... It appears that Spotlight will not automatically launch and open WordPerfect if classic is not running or previously opened. You can drop the selected file onto WP icon. Once WP open and classic is running, it will open file.
