- This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />I've been using Wireshark and Ethereal before it on FreeBSD, Linux, and Windows for years, and have been using the X11 builds on OS X for about 4 years. I upgraded my MacBook to Leopard last week, and so quickly hit Version Tracker looking for a Leopard-ized WireShark build. A co-worker asked about it today, so I finally got around to installing it. So far, it seems to work pretty well. Packet capture is working like a charm, and I can right-click a packet and to 'Follow TCP Stream' while still capturing. Excellent! <P> I plan to use this extensively in the next few weeks, so I'll give it a thorough wringing out. I'm going to grab an X11 build in case this proves to be too unstable to use, but I hope it will suffice. It sure would be nice to have a <b>real</b> aqua UI on WireShark, but since I'm not stepping up to the plate on that one, I don't have much room to complain...
