This collection of apps pulls together more than 100 useful shareware applications designed for portable computing. Downloading the install package is unusually slow, but installation speed is quick. The 740MB installed package includes two methods to open programs: a very handy tool tray Start menu and the same list as a simple dialog window. Both menus logically categorize the apps into Graphics, Internet, Multimedia, Security, System Utilities, Office, and Utilities.

The good news is this group of apps includes software for most every need. The bad news is the programs are of various qualities and usefulness. The worst news is they're not all freeware. If you plan to hand this suite to employees, then you'll have to disable 12 free for personal-use-only apps. There is a menu item to uninstall the full package, but no easy way to delete select programs.

Most of the applications are good quality. They perform needed functions with a minimum of wasted effort. Only a few of the programs will be used daily. The rest fit niche needs or stand by for the very occasional use. There is a little fat in the collection. With OpenOffice in the list, Abiword and Gnumeric could have been skipped. There also isn't a need for three calendar programs.

This suite can be installed to a hard-dive directory for those who prefer standalone programs. There isn't a perfect collection of pen drive apps, but this suite will go a long way toward satisfying most users.

Having many flavors hardly pleases everybody.

A good initiative towards portabilization and each title of the collection should only be understood as a suggestion of the given title, as it is just impossible to please all users. Each user has his or her own taste that can be further adjusted as each one sees fit. And as I understand each title is a suggestion, I rate it 5, because the author is doing what only a very few other have the courage and time do do. Besides, as any portable app that runs from a stick, it helps keeping your computer load smaller by not over bloating the registry if you were to install the same apps on the HD.
Cons
Not exactly a negative feature, but it is impossible to create a suite of portable apps that will meet 100 per cent of the tastes of the audience. A small flaw that should be corrected is that it starts in Italian but not all the world speaks Italian. The international idiom is English.
Summary
Good job and initiative, worth trying according to your needs. Just pick one you think fits closer to your needs and adapt it to make it your own.

Compact, and has a few useful utilities that apply to the computers I use or encounter on a daily basis.

Not all programs are useful to me, but my computer software needs may be different from others who download this application suite.
Summary
I didn't have any difficulty in downloading the suite of programs; this suite of programs contains SOMETHING OF USE to just about anyone. If you don't need all of the programs, you can easily delete them from your thumb drive and keep the ones you want/need.
