  Installs and runs fine on Win7 64x

  I was SUPER excited to see that I found my old favorite DOS game, but this is NOT that old classic game at ALL.. this is an unfortunate remake that seems to have completely consumed the classic version everywhere online.

  Summary

  Dataware PLEASE make the original DOS versions of these games available for download somewhere.. I'm talking about the tree-monster lava-tower prison-escape gold-giving-genie train-for-three-extra-HP filled versions that I absolutely ADORED as a child!!

  Graphics are terrible. I know you will defend it by saying its an older game that's been re-released. I would agree with that logic if the game hadn't been re-released MANY TIMES! In all those re-releases they never do any graphical improvements, just bug fixes. I am reviewing this to todays (or the last 10+ years) standards.

  This game like all of the old "high-quality but lo-res games" of the past is very satisfying because of its interesting plot, a storyline that lasts through the series and pleasant graphics. Winged Warrior is complementedc by its very pleasing soundtrack. As with all Dataware games, the music is of high quality and appropriate to the situation

  This is a very long game that requires skill and patience. I have spent over two days preparing my warrior to face Birdman and I am still not satisfied. <p> <p>Since this is not a "joystick game," your fingers can get rather tired from constantly pressing the arrow keys to get around or to get into combat mode

  If you enjoy playing NES style RPG's I highly recommend this game. It is so awesome. i can not quit playing it. If u have ever played Dragon Warrior for NES and liked it...you will love thise game.

  Quick to download and simple gameplay, but unless you enjoy the very primitive graphics like in the early days of Atari and Nintendo then I would not reccomend this game

  Primitive graphics, fightscenes are to simple and unengaging, not enough stuff to look through (treasure boxes only - no dressers or bookcases) Dialog appears in a plain white box with black text. This looks like a home-made game that somebody created as a project for a computer programming class. I'm sure alot went into it, but it's just too primitive for nowadays.
