  To Mohar the reason that there is no patch for Windows 98 is because there the blaster worm doesn't affect windows 98 I don't know why anyone would rate this it is a patch and its job is to do one thing patch a hole in crappy windows nothing more

  Woof....this software is super cool...!!..after i have scan and deleted all my ms blast virus i stlll get it when logging to internet...but after using th "Windows XP RPC Interface Buffer Overrun Security Vulnerability Patch" the virus is gone forever so if any one encounter problem like me this is the best application...cool...

  People, I had heard that the microsoft update page has been hit with the virus, so I won't go there, until microsoft says everythings fine. Just use norton personal firewall, and u should be ok. Oh, and to Sabs-If your operating system is pirated, and the patch won't install, what do you expect?

  I have had the misfortune of having to run this program for several different people who asked for help and I find a common problem with each of them. They all downloaded the wrong version and tried to install it. It's simple,but confusing. One of them had a computer that said windows XP on the front of it but they were running windows 2000. The list goes on from there.

  The software does what it's supposed to do. Why wouldn't I recommend it? Unless your one of the ones that are lashing out at Microsoft about patches that don't work on pirated software. Open your eyes should realize that you have an illegal copy so why should they support it. Also, Microsoft did announce that there was a possible hole in there software back in July, 2003 and to keep updating your windows using Windows Update.
