Make Spaces practical for me
Cowicide- Pros
- Cons
- Summary
- This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
I'm all about gestures and intuitive interfaces that make me more productive. What I love about Warp is that if I want to have a quick area to put notes and stuff that won't be obscured by other windows, etc. and don't clog up my view of the Desktop, I just create two Spaces and then drag whatever I want to the edge of my window (I keep a very slight delay to it to prevent accidents) and drop it. Then if I want to quickly read the notes or whatever (and I mean quickly!) I just simply move my mouse to either the left or right edge of my screen and "poof"... I'm reading the note. Then I just move my mouse to the edge again to get back to whatever else I was working on. Apple should integrate Warp options into Spaces stat and give this dev some cash in the process. In the meantime, I donated to keep this alive!
WONDERFUL

Great little utility

- Summary
- This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
This fills a needed gap in the Spaces tech. One thing that keeps happening to me, though, is that I warp when I am simply lingering around menus too long. I can't think how to avoid this - other than to turn it off - but it sort of defeats the purpose since I'm then forced to wait the 1.4 secs (the happy medium I've settled upon that makes this limitation the least annoying) to get back to where I wanted to be, so I can go back and linger at the menu again!! Thanks for putting tihs software out for free.
Nice

If a user has 1 row of 4 spaces [1][2][3][4] You can only mouse right from space 1 and only mouse left from space 4. It would be wonderful if the spaces simply wrapped so mousing left from space 1 went to space 4, etc. Thanks!
