Battle it out in a real-time strategy game that features character development in a D&D fantasy realm.

Real-time strategy had no room for heroics....until now. The question is, will you be the hero of your race, or just another soldier in the field? Warlords Battlecry takes real-time strategy gameplay into the next generation with hero-based gameplay. Create a hero in one of eight races and then take him and his armies through campaigns, quests, and multiplayer games. The eight races include: humans, dwarfs, orcs, minotaurs, undead, high elf, dark elf, and wood elf.

Your hero and his armies must set out, on either a path of good or a path of evil, to destroy the Two Tears (two powerful and mystical meteorites) before they fall into the wrong hands. As you win scenarios, campaigns, or multiplayer games and your hero gains experience, he will be able to choose a specialty class that will strengthen his attributes. The four broad classes include warrior, priest, rogue, and wizard.

If you like the origional Warcraft game, this is similar in game play but much better.

Pros
I like the variety of available units and especially the adjustable aggressiveness of the units. Control overall is great by having units guard an individual and using that individual as the leader of an army.
Cons
Some units would not obey my commands and would turn back to the base, it was probably my lack of leadership.

Great game. The varity between the undead and the humans is nice. It's the best strategy game i've seen. It doesn't let you just build a host of troops and roll over your opponents. It forces you to defend yourself. But at the same time, it doesn't move to slowly to enjoy. Great game.

I don't know how you could not fall in love with this game. I loved the demo and then bought the game for $40. It was worth every penny! It has several patches that add features to it. The graphics are very realistic and the game play is great and addictive.
