This bare-bones application for automatically changing desktop wallpaper is a functional yet mediocre option. The application's interface is simple enough to understand and use, but it's rather drab. The program's main feature is the ability to select how often the wallpaper changes, allowing you to choose an interval from 15 seconds to once a week. Alternately, you can change the wallpaper manually with a user-defined hot key or by clicking the program icon in the system tray. However, unlike some competitors, Wallpaper Mate doesn't provide transition effects such as crossfades or wipes. The utility doesn't hog system resources, but then, it doesn't do very much. Given the number of free products that do a far better job, Wallpaper Mate isn't likely to have wide appeal, especially considering the short 10-day trial period.

You can load 10 or 20 Wallpapers but it will only change +-5 Wallpapers all the time and will leave the other 5 or 15 Wallpapers as if they dont exist, unless you manually change the Wallpaper yourself, which defeats the object of the excersize I want a wallpaper changer that changes the wallpaper in the sequence i want them changed! I am extremely sorry i purchased this software and their support e-mail address does not work, which already can tell you much about a software company.You will do well by avoiding this software and i challenge Above and Beyond Software to prove me wrong!
