Vypress Auvis is a one-way message client that resides in your PC's system tray and allows you to receive messages from network administrators. It is a message processor only, and does not allow you to send messages. It allows you to disable any of the extra features through special Registry keys. It can receive messages from Vypress Messenger (direct TCP messages plus UDP broadcasts), WinPopup/Messaging Service (Windows NT), any Unix system with SMB protocol enabled, and from a NetWare Send command. Vypress Auvis is able to receive files from Messenger 3.0, includes simplified licensing management, multilevel Registry settings and system policy support, and a setup wizard that simplifies program deployment across a corporate network.
