Voice Web Studio is a product for Macromedia Dreamweaver MX that provides the necessary tools to visually build and deploy speech-enabled Web and telephone (IVR/VRU) applications based on SALT 1.0. Add speech recognition and text-to-speech (TTS) to your Web pages through Macromedia Dreamweaver MX. Voice Web Studio enables you to use your voice to navigate Web pages and to enter content onscreen.

You can deploy your pages on wireless devices, handhelds, telephones, and Internet kiosks. It offers features that let you speak back to the Web page and navigate it without using the mouse or keyboard. This extension suite is a tool for Speech Application Language Tags (SALT) and for Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 or later. It does not yet support VoiceXML.

Summary
I started using this as a student, to "differentiate" my assignments from those of fellow students. Not only was my Web Development tutor impressed, so was my CHI / HCI tutor ... Now I am creating websites for SME customers, I find that again, this offering differentiates me from other design/development people. Even if customers don't want it, they are impressed that it is an option available to them.

This product is awesome!! I created some simple speech commands that worked right in Dreamweaver and then I tested it using the FREE Internet Explorer Speech Add-in and used my microphone to navigate my FLASH and regular HTML pages including my PHP and ASP scripts!!! WOW!

Summary
I made my website be able to say whatever I want when the page loads, and I did it suprisingly fast. I think I could've have done it even faster if I used Dreamweaver more regularly. I believe that this extension will make a big difference to a lot of end-users, especially the disabled. Great work! I'm looking forward to upgrading to the full version on Monday.
