  Summary

  Saved all 300+ .vnt files as .txt files in one motion and named them according to the date they were created on my phone. I have a Samsung Galaxy SII.

  this doesn't really work well and neither does the other one, suggested in the earlier comment. this one worked better for me although it failed to convert some characters: https://sites.google.com/site/vnotetotextconverter/ but what i'd really like to find is a batch program that converts all my vnote files into txt files at once.

  Summary

  it's an unnecessary program that doesn't really do the simple job of deleting some preceding and trailing characters in a file that it's supposed to.
