• Best accounting software I've ever used in 26 years.

  Pros

  It is very easy to use and it does everything I need. It has a lot of functions that I haven't used, but they haven't gotten in the way. The CD came with all the training I could ask for and the help file is the best I've ever seen.

  Cons

  It's not available at retail stores, only through dealers or the main company.

  Summary

  I've used a lot of accounting software over the years, but nothing compares to Visual Bookkeeper. I talked to the people that developed it and I found out why: they listened to the users as they developed the program. If I understand correctly, the screens were actually designed (programmed?) by one of their most experienced trainers. Whoever did it, they knew what they were doing. I've referred others to Visual Bookkeeper. I'm hard to please, but I have no problems with this software. By the way, I had a suggestion about something I wanted to see in the software, so I called the company again. They liked my idea and it was in the next update, about 3-4 months later. I couldn't believe it!

• Best Of Breed For Business Management & Accounting

  Pros

  Easy to learn, install and use. Having been credited with creating the world's first, fully integrated, industrial strength, suite of business applications for Windows 95 this application suite is one of the best I've seen or used.

  Cons

  There really are no cons apart from having to gain brand recognition which is what we are working on today as the marketing group for all A-Systems products.

  Summary

  My history in IT goes back 40 years or more and I was among the first to create software capable of creating software. Today, it is called RAD (Raplid Application Development) technology and I have used the same RAD technology A-Systems used to create, maintain and continually enhance Visual Bookkeeper. This is a huge plus folks as not only can they keep ahead of any competitor with new features and benefits but Visual Bookkeeper can be quickly customized to any end user need or requirement without the typical expense and time delays getting to the implementation of mission critical projects. This application suite is truly infinitely scalable unlike many of its competitors. The audit trail features built into its accounting applications are powerful and nearly impossible to defeat. This translates into being able to pass investor, banker, lender and other due diligence audits with flying colors, something which as a banking consultant I have rarely seen, for example, with QuickBooks implementations. Try it. You will like it. There is nothing you would ever need from a business management and accounting suite of applications which Visual Bookkeeper is lacking. And, for the record, I have past clients the size of Harley Davidson Motorcycles and The State Of California using these core RAD designs going back many years. Not once have any of them lost data, crashed nor experienced problems running well over 1,000 concurrent users against databases containing many hundreds of thousands of records, each, with split second search, retrieval and update times. I am like the man who sells that famous brand of electric razors - I liked the product so much I "bought" the company, jumped in and took over their world marketing campaign and, as he said, I use this product every day to run and manage my various business interests inclusive of a "cloud computing" implementation of all its features we use at First Rule Group Corporation every day, world wide, 24 x 7 x 365 with "five nines" up time and none of the hassles and problems the far more expensive competitors can bring to the table.
