Are you going from your computer and don't want to log off? Worried about someone tampering with stuff through command prompt, regedit, task manager etc? Well this application is for you. Group Policy Editor is a tool available in Windows Ultimate which lets you disable certain things on your computer. Unfortunately it is not a feature on other vista versions so the only way to disable/enable these settings is via going into the registry. Using VistAble saves you the trouble of editing the registry by yourself. The features that VistAble disables/enables are the features that I think are the most important. VistAble can be password protected and then minimized to tray, this stops people from being able to edit the settings. There is also a setting to password protect the application when it starts, this can be enabled once you set a password, another setting which can be enabled/disabled is whether to enable all the features on exit or leave them as they are. This version is the first release on CNET Download.com
