• Product very good, Tera Innovations SUCKS!

  Pros

  The program is outstanding, but, after purchasing the software, I now find that the company, Tera Innovations, is out of business! Now what do we do? They no longer update, answer emails or for that fact even have a web site. This is what you get. And if tou try to update the program it tells you that there are no updates. <p> <p>Tera Innovations Public Statement <p> <p> <p> <p>Although we regret to leave the antivirus market, our ViruScape 2.0 code has been acquired by another antivirus company and ViruScape 2 will not released to the public. Current users of ViruScape will continue to be updated. ViruScape v1 will no longer be available for purchasing, and the installation download for ViruScape has been removed. <p> <p>Thank you for your interest and we apologize for any inconvenience. <p> <p> <p>-Tera Innovations, Incorporated. <p> <p>This is a bunch of hogwash! When you try to update all you get is the notice that Tera Innovations server is not responding! Wonder how many others out there have been RIPPED OFF for $40.00. Their partner company, Immune Soft does not even supply any information on this software. <p>Well, I for one an not going to take being ripped off without making a bunch of waves.

• VERY IMPRESSIVE!

  Pros

  I've been using this program for one day now and I am very impressed with it. It has found two viruses and no spyware, so far. The update is great too. <p> <p>I like the idea that it also checks for other bad stuff not just viruses. It has a awesome blue interface, the options are plentiful, easy to navigate and self explanatory, the scanning is fast and smooth and you have scanning options. <p> <p>I like the 30 day trial period with no restrictions and the idea of having 4 years of updates. Before the trial is over this program will be a permanent fixture on my computer. <p> <p>I am so impressed with this program even on one day that I want to thank the programmers and the support team for making a great product. I am not an expert computer user, but I am experienced. <p> <p>Thank you!

• Fast, small antivirus program which saved me 5 times during the trial

  Pros

  VirusScape is a very good product. It uses up very little memory and scans very fast (faster than others that Ive tested). I like the simple interface as I dont want to have to figure out how to work a program. I dont have a lot of virus samples to test on, but Ive been using it for about a month and it has blocked 3 viruses and 2 spywares. It cleaned them quickly and I was back up and running in minutes. It is very inexpensive ($40) and I got a license key in 17 minutes after purchasing. I got NOT AUTOMATED responses from their support@ in about 20 minutes, which I am very impressed with.

  Cons

  I would like to have an emergency disk and maybe a quarantine but their forum said that a quarantine isnt necessary, and I do understand this. It would also be nice to have a mail scanner, but support@ says that if you download a virus from email, it will be blocked. There is also not a http scanner, but support@ said that the memory scanning and 'global i/o monitor' doesn't need a separate HTTP scanner. It would be nice to have an integrated firewall or a whole security suite, but maybe that will come in the future! I think a con is that I have never heard of the company before, but, I do like trying new products and sometimes there are new good ones which will become a threat to the big guys and this is definitely one that we will be hearing a lot about in the near future!
