Couldn't load any video files to edit. Error says I need to input correct time, but the time boxes are grayed out and won't let me change the time. This was a very short trial period!Perhaps the full version has a help button, but this version does not.

It managed to extract the video as promised, albeit with minor horizontal lines in it.

Not terribly "user-friendly" -- you would need some more than basic knowledge of video editing. Also, when you extract video/audio from the DVD, the audio lags behind the video so that they don't match up. I am going to look for another program to use. I make Harry Potter fan videos and I need to use clips from the DVD in order to obtain enough footage. I was hoping that this program would properly convert the VOB files to something the major video edting softwares would accept (like Sony Vegas 6, for example) because a majority of video editing tools won't accept VOB files so one must convert them. I would not recommend this program to my worst enemy -- or maybe I would...muwahahaha! hehe

I like this product after doing so many searches for something I needed. People complained about version 1.3 so if you got 1.3, try 1.4, it installed fine.

I cannot get the transitions to get in between video clips but I am still trying! :)

Immediately after I downloaded and installed the software, I attempted to run it. I got a message that the trial period had already expired, then the software would not close. I had to ctl-alt-del several times just to get it to close. Don't waste your time with this dud!
