Batch Convert MPEG (DVD, VCD, SVCD, MPEG1, MPEG2), AVI (DIVX, XVID, MPEG4), RM/RMVB, and WMV/ASF to various formats. Split a video file into several parts, join several video files in different formats into a video file in assigned format.

When converting, splitting and joining, you can set the start time and the end time of the source file if you don't need to process the entire source file. In other words, you can join a part of one file and a part of another file into a new file in new format by only one step. And also you just need one step to split a file into several dozens of small files that are only several MB in size. It has a multi-tasks manager. You can give it several assignments (Convert, Split and Join), and it will carry out each task in order. When you withdraw from the procedure, it can record the tasks that have not completed in order to continue to carry out next time.

Version 4.0 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.

Not much. Poor interface, lack of documentation

Tried to convert RM video to DivX and the program would not recognize RM files as the source file. Lame program, don't waste your time.

There were a couple of things that stood out about this program: <p> <p>- 20-day trial period is generous <p>- Ability to batch convert <p>- Handles a variety of formats

Unfortunately, I can't recommend this program. Here are a few things that need improvement: <p> <p>- Not intuitive ("Convert"=add; "Execute"=start; etc) <p>- Up/Down buttons next to "Join" aren't legible (see screenshot) <p>- Cannot ctrl+click multiple files <p>- Cannot preview editing in the software <p>- Too little documentation <p>- The quality of MPEG2>MPEG wasn't good

After install, first time I ran the program, first file I tried to open produced an error message saying that the video codec was not properly installed. That's nonsense because the video plays perfectly using 4 different players. More time wasted unistalling another program that doesn't work.
