Used Unhide Passwords for Windows?
Editors’ Review
If you can't stand the asterisks that cover your passwords as you type them online, this free Firefox plug-in will reveal them for you with ease. It's just not so easy to hide them again.
Unhide Passwords does just that; it shows your passwords as you type them, removing the asterisks. The options with this program are few. You can choose to turn the program on or off, and you can choose the password style (bold, italic, color). Unhide Passwords worked just fine revealing passwords, but once you type your password, you're supposed to be able to double-click the entry to reinstate the asterisks. We found this operation very awkward, and testers reported that they frequently erased passwords instead of hiding them. Perhaps a hot-key combo would have worked better here.
Unhide Passwords doesn't help you remember your passwords or manage them for you. It might be of help to the really bad typists who want to avoid getting error messages trying to access password-protected accounts. If you fall into that category, this free software could be the answer.
