Used TypeText for Windows?
Editors’ Review
TypeText gives you the ability to enter in lines of text that you type often and then have the program auto-type them with just a few taps. This is a great help if you find yourself typing out certain items over and over again.
Pros
Good functionality: With this program, you can enter in a list of terms, phrases, e-mail addresses, or anything else that you type out frequently, and then call that list up by pressing "CTRL+B" whenever you want to type any of them. Select the item you want from the list that pops up, and press enter to type your selection.
Import and export: You never have to worry about losing your data with this app. All you have to do is export it to create a backup on your computer or an external drive. Then import it again when you need it through the app's streamlined interface.
Cons
Not much help: There is a Help file that comes with this app, but it's not very clear or informative. An improved resource would be a nice improvement, although it's not too hard to find your way around without it.
Bottom Line
TypeText is a nice, free app that provides a useful service. It's not loaded with features, but it's not meant to be. It delivered on its promises, and it always ran smoothly during testing. Just about anyone can benefit from the features it does offer, so there's no reason not to give it a try.
