Developer’s Description

By Vic Bertis
Display a Badi Calendar on your desktop.

TwinCalendar displays the Badi (Bahai) calendar date for any day from the first day of the calendar equivalent to March 20-21, 1844 forward. TwinCalendar displays today's date and sunrise and sunset times in the heading, and a grid filled with the 19 days of the current month. The user can navigate backward or forward through the calendar one month at a time.

TwinCalendar displays all of the Bahai holy days. TwinCalendar does not compute the equinoxes. Because of this limitation, TwinCalendar always shows Naw-Ruz (New Year) on March 21st regardless of the actual date and time of the vernal equinox. Similarly, TwinCalendar only shows the birthdays of the Bab and Bahaullah according to the solar calendar and does not attempt to show the dates on which they would be observed according to the Muslim lunar calendar.
