Turbo Searcher for Windows

Although this file finder is much improved from past versions, it's still not quite perfect. Similar to Web-search engines, Turbo Searcher indexes files on your hard drive, which makes it possible for the application to return lightning-quick results. Indexing a 4GB hard drive took only a few minutes in our tests. The interface is largely self-explanatory, but we wish it let you preview documents.

You can search your computer or network by keyword or mask, but Turbo Searcher also provides tools for quickly finding music, images, or videos. The utility doesn t take up much memory and CPU power even when indexing files, and we didn t notice any real performance flaws to speak of. All things considered, Turbo Searcher is a decent choice for users with bloated PCs.
