Fantasy worlds can be extraordinarily rewarding, but they aren't necessarily any easier to understand than the real world. Triple Triad Extreme: Dark Wind is an online multiplayer version of Final Fantasy 8's Triple Triad card game, and it is best experienced by players who are already familiar with the rules and play of that title.

We started off trying to understand the game rules available on the game's site, but found ourselves often confused. The game has dozens of variations on the in-game rules and many different rules for trades among players. New players will likely have to spend several days relying on the goodwill and explanations of other players before they can figure out all these subtleties.

The game is obviously designed to foster communication, since players gain more resources and get more powerful as they actively participate in the community. However, if players aren't already Triple Triad and Final Fantasy 8 aficionados, the early days are likely to be a challenge.

I first joined, back in May 2005. And along the way I've gone through 4 PCs, but always, the first necessity of a new PC, for me, Is Triple Triad Extreme. Putting the fact I'm a much-needed member of the community, and as far as im concerned, just a standard member like everyone else, I enjoy the game for what it is. So obviously, when I first joined I was more into playing and not so much taking part in active community, But the community grows on you like fungus after awhile and becomes a healthy dosage of daily life, for some. TTE is always changing, and is always, for the better. What keeps me here after all these years, is the decks themselves, the more the merrier as they say, is what a games content needs to become popular and above all, better. The More decks that are added the more people join from finding out about the game, with so many of my personal favourites liek Nintendo, Sega, Fire Emblem and recent Legends (containing the likes of Halo, Gears of War and Dead or Alive, to name a few) keeps me more than happy. At the end of they day, you don't HAVE to play games to enjoy TTE, but it can lighten up your stay. a big must have application for your desktop, and a nice bundle-size too so you wouldnt even know its there. So My suggestion, get this game, stick round for a week or two and you'll see just why this is the best Triple Triad game on the Internet.

All of the original FF8 cards but with over 10 new decks including other FF games, Nintendo, Suikoden and Anime. Hybird TT games including team games, new TT rules, memory and sphere break. Great community.
Cons
Can be difficult to get good cards at first but if you persist then by desiging your own rules will be able to compete with the best.

Simply the best Triple Triad on the net. All the original rules and cards from ff8 along with new rules and new decks ranging from FF7 and FF9 to Chrono Cross and Suikoden to Anime. New hybrid games including Omni Triple Triad and Team Omni Triple Triad aswell as other mini games including Sphere break (FF10) and Chinchriorin (Suikoden) and classic memory. Leader Boards, Forums rpg, Competitions and Guilds, everything is in this game!

This game is great, it has a main chat where you can talk to everyone who is on, it also shows all games being played, and you can set up a game at anytime. <p>Not only is there the main game of triple triad (the mini-game from ff8) there are many mini - games that you may play also, and they are fun. <p>Easy to learn give it about an hour and you can learn all about the game, and if you dunno anything theres a great manual to explain everything. <p>There are many skins you may choose from you dont have just one like in the first era of this game, so if you dont like the default skin you can download another skin. <p>Cards? there are so many from final fantasy tatics, 7, 8, 9, etc. to sega and nintendo. This is great also because in time there will be many more decks to be added :) <p>There are also auctions now in this version, which is great because you can look at what ppl put up to sell. (much like ebay.) <p>There are always admin. on to make sure that the chat doesnt get out of hand and that this game becomes easy to learn and fix out problems that arise if any. <p>If theres a bug or any problem you see you can submit it and it will be taken care of most of the times real quick. <p>There are now guilds that have a reason why they are in the game, you can make your own guild and try to have your guild at the top of the listings, to prove your guild is the best. You may recruit ppl, remove guild members, etc... <p>Lets just say this game is really great, there are so many other great things about it so i do approve this game to anyone. <p>Oh yeah and its FREE!!!

there really isnt much too say here just i would like to see some of the ppl quit this game coz they are annoying. <p>besides that i would of liked some cards to have better stats (but this is all about opinion.) <p>other then these sometimes bugs will come up but thats 10% of the time. <p>All in All There isnt really anything to keep you from downloading such a great game!
