TransWin for Windows

This application effectively sets program window transparency according to user settings, although canceling requires a system reboot. TransWin's executable opens in a dull but simple dialog interface. To help users, the program previews transparency changes. During configuration, the effect is slowly reflected on each window. You also can specify a window to adjust by simply dragging a crosshair to the specific window.

TransWin's flexibility is reflected through the simple setting of transparency levels for any program on an easily browsed list. Not everyone likes the transparency effect, and TransWin makes it easy to revert all windows to solid. Unfortunately, we weren't able to reverse the changes made just by adjusting the transparency level back to full or by using the Restore All function. We were finally forced to restart our systems.
