Transformer Core is a software core allowing a developer to build a database management application without writing the software code. You don't have to write the software code: all you need to know is XML and SQL database management language. The idea is simple. First you have to create a database according to Transformer Core requirements and your needs. Next, you have to create XML format metadata that describe necessary menus, forms, reports, filters etc. Then, your system is ready: all you have to do is to start Transformer Core which configures the application based on your metadata and connects to the database. As a result, you get a high-performance and stable multi-user system that contains multifunctional list forms and editing forms, can generate reports, is integrated with MS Excel, and has a flexible permission system. Other interesting features of the software core include: localization of your future system, support of simultaneous operations with multiple databases, automatic generation of metadata for list forms, inheriting metadata for some system elements, external software interface enabling data access though metadata, definition of permissions by objects' attributes etc. You can download a Project Management System example demonstrating all the core capabilities.
