Installs systems services (why!!!), will not start unless you have internet connected, Will not edit HD records from my camcorder. Totally useless product. ( long ago this was good, but no more )

I had been looking for a good program to extract the video from my dvd-vr mode settop dvd recorder dvds and this is the one. Very quick and easy to use.

None At This time as far as the function but the $59 price is a bit high.

I couldn't even get it to work, I downloaded and installed it a couple of times to be sure I wasn't doing something wrong, but it always popped up with '..has encountered a problem and needs to close..', no matter what i did. <p> <p>i tried another one and it worked fine, so i guess there's something wrong with this one. it's a shame because it sounds like a decent program and has a sensible trial limitation, but there's no point if its not going to work.

We'll where do I start, when the product was not working for me I tried to go to their support which was NO HELP AT ALL! When I looked at another MPEG edtor product I did not have this problem.

This product is excellent for what i need, it cuts out my commercials off my DVD-VR files and its actually pretty fast smart rendering and cutting.
