TIVA Calc for iOS

TIVA Calc is a quick and simple app to help you when you are using Total Intravenous Anaesthesia (TIVA), or setting up a ventilator in the operating theatre or critical care unit; or for that matter any calculation involving height, weight, body surface area or BMI.

The aim of this app is to quickly and simply convert weights and heights from units in common use to those required to programme in a TCI/ TIVA pump. No more puzzling over how many kilograms are in 10 stone 6, or how many centimetres tall a 5 foot 8 person is! It also allows the calculation of age from dates of birth.

If that were not enough, it can also calculate tidal volumes

This is an elegantly simple app which makes your day-to-day job much simpler. It is also useful outside of anaesthesia for any other drug calculations which require height, weight, body surface area or age.
