TicknTalk is an app that installs a sidebar to your browser. The sidebar shows live updates on Twitter, so you can follow it and tweet while doing your every day stuff on the internet. Quite handy if you do a lot on Twitter!
Cons
Only thing I recognized was the sidebar is quite large, so it covers a lot of your browser window. Unfortunately it won't automatically adjust its size when you try to downsize the sidebar.
